Official Business Website (Mandatory as per Meta Policy)
Meta strictly requires a live, functional business website to approve WhatsApp Business API accounts.
Mandatory Webpages on your Website:
- Privacy Policy Page: Must state how customer data is processed and protected.
- Terms & Conditions Page: Service terms and usage rules.
- Contact Us Page: Must display business contact email, phone number, and physical office address.
- Branding Consistency: Business name on website must match your WABA Display Name.

Requirement 2
Legal Business Registration Documents
Any ONE of the following official government registration documents showing your exact legal entity name and address:
GST Registration Certificate (Form REG-06)
MSME / Udyam Registration Certificate
Certificate of Incorporation (Private Limited / LLP)
Registered Partnership Deed / Shop Establishment
Additional Document: Business PAN Card (Company PAN or Proprietor PAN card matching registration certificate).
Requirement 3
Dedicated WhatsApp Mobile Number
Key requirements for your official WhatsApp Business API phone number:
- Must be able to receive an SMS or Voice Call OTP during activation.
- Must NOT be registered on normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business mobile app (If registered, delete normal WhatsApp account before activation).
- Facebook Business Manager: Admin access to your company's Facebook Page / Business Manager account.
- Official Display Name: Must match your registered business name or registered brand trademark.
